A short time later, they picked him up, arrested him,

and he was found guilty for the murder.

Elizabeth Baron: In the Spring of 1988, I met a wonderful criminal investigator for the Charleston County Sheriff's Department. His name was Sgt. Garrison and I must say that this was the greatest association I ever had with law enforcement.
.
One day a woman came to me and asked if I could tune into her very dear friend who had just been murdered in Baltimore, Maryland. Sgt. Garrison and I sat down with his crime kit and fashioned a sketch. Garrison sent it to the Baltimore Police. The police told Garrison that they picked up the man shortly thereafter. He confessed that he had murdered this young woman. The police told the woman who had come to me that the crime kit sketch was a shocking resemblance to the murderer who turned out to be her boyfriend. Garrison and I were pleased with our work and would do this many more times over the years.
