Two things to consider as you read this section.  A haunting can be a very serious situation which can effect those who experience ghosts. Performing an exorcism is a very serious event and novices should certainly take cautious. Hollywood has effectively scared the wits out of movie watchers and television has glamorized this subject. But make no mistake, this is serious business which can be dangerous.

In the press, Elizabeth has often been referred to as a "GhostBuster".  One article written about her work was titled "Psychic Ain't Afraid of No Ghost."  She is now referred to and prefers to be called by her true title, "Medium". Through her guardian angel, Catherine of Siena, who in the fourteenth century in Italy was respected as an exorcist among other things, Elizabeth has done many exorcisms.  The first nationally televised show of one of her exorcisms was on the Geraldo Rivera Show.  An exorcism may be needed if a deceased person who is earthbound begins to disturb the psychological health of the person who is being haunted.  Sometimes it is just a matter of communicating unfinished business between the person being haunted and the deceased loved one and helps the ghost to go on to the "Light".  The ghost will sometimes appear as a solid being, a white mist, a dark mist, a familiar scent and even as a poltergeist (an aggravating spirit) which can bring emotional disturbance to a whole household.  This is where a medium can be very helpful.
